ZINC-PHOSPHATE CEMENT

Dental cement "Unicem" is available inrnthree colors: white, light yellow, golden yellow and
also bactericidal (contains bestrnquantity bacteriostatic effective form of silver).

PURPOSE

· fixingrninserts, pinned teeth, plastic, metal, porcelain, cermet crowns

and bridge prostheses

· fillingrnteeth to be crowned.

· asrnisolating pad during filling

«Unicem bactericidal» is used in pediatric dentistry for filling primaryrnteeth.

FEATURES

«Unicem» material is zinc-phosphate dental cementrnfeaturing high mechanical strength and chemical stability. Compressive strengthrnis equal to 90MPa (when fixing, powder to liquid ratio is 1,5:1), 121MPa (whenrnfilling, powder to liquid ratio is 2:1). The cement is obtained by mixingrnpowder containing zincoxide and modifying agents with liquid represented byrnorthophosphoric acid of low activity. Film thickness for filling is no morernthan 25 μm.

The presence of silver in bactericidal cement preventsrnthe development of secondary caries and reduces the probability of emergence ofrnthe primary caries of primary teeth.
